February Flashback: 2 Months Down, 10 More To Come

Hello you amazing people!

How has February been going for you?

Fantastic, wonderful, amazing?

I'm so happy this month has been all of the above adjectives for you!

Mine has been pretty good!

Well, if pretty good means pretty lazy, thats how it's gone.

I had so much planned for this month, and have failed at doing about 95% of it!

February Planning

I didn't do any of the planned blog posts, I didn't go for a walk and take my camera, however I did go and see Deadpool when it came out in cinemas. Ben and I went and had dinner at Grill'd and then went to the cinema. I also did go to Kylie's Younique makeup party, at which I executed great self control, and didn't purchase anything, although I really wanted to!

I got to see my wonderful best friend get a new tattoo! I was overly excited for the appointment and it looks absolutely perfect!!!

It was done by Chris V at Lantern & Sparrow at Mount Gravatt, for all you Brisbanites!

Every year for Valentines Day, I always take my mum a bunch of flowers because she deserves them! She is such an amazing woman to have put up with my crap for the past 25 years. After that Ben treated me to lunch, where I had a very yummy chicken schnitzel with chips, salad and diane sauce. I barely wear makeup, however I feel that Valentines Day called for it.

Finally! A pretty face from me!

Ben has picked up a project, which involved getting our '98 Rav 4 up to scratch to pass the road worthy inspection. I can proudly say that Ben has accomplished that and we have a road worthy certificate for good old Captain Doug. He'll soon be getting it registered so we'll be cruising up and down the coast, enjoying the sunshine!

I have also picked up my own hobby! I picked up a cheap desk from Kmart and am currently painting it so it has copper legs and a glossy white desk top. I may have to get a glass top though, so I don't scratch the paint. So far it's coming along nicely, however I do need to get some more paint to finish it up! So far, so good though!

We celebrated my uncles 50th birthday last weekend. My aunty planned it all and even had a make your own kebab station. All she did was approach a local kebab store and asked whether they could cater for the party, and the did. It was like she had a whole kebab store set up under the back deck! It was fantastic! Such a good idea! My first attempt at a kebab was not the best, however the second was amazing! The birthday cake came from The Cheesecake Shop and was mudcake in the form of a double trailer semi truck! It was delicious!! I so could've eaten the whole thing by myself!

I've re-started Lite 'N' Easy this month, which has been fantastic! I have stockpiled on so many dinners though that I am now only having to get the breakfasts and lunches! Woohoo!

Apart from that though, that was my February!

Don't forget I'm also going to be posting this on my WordPress account, so lookout for it over there!

Sorry about this being late!

Keep smiling!

Love, D xx
